This project was a quick and fun Mini Makeover.
My clients kept all their original furniture, and we simply refreshed their space with paint, window treatments, rugs and accessories.
The walls were painted in a beautiful warm White Dove by Benjamin Moore, which added height and airiness to the space. The window treatments framed and warmed up the rooms. To add a more formal and elevated feeling to the space, I sourced the most beautiful Barcart for the dining room.
My favorite transformative move was to paint the brick fireplace white. This took the living room to another level of understated elegance and allowed for a clean and clear canvas to style with accessories. We kept the decorative pieces for the shelves fairly minimal and simple.
The beautiful painting above the fireplace is yet another favorite piece. The painting not only added color to the white canvas but also created a focal point for the room. Additionally, by placing it in a vertical position we automatically gave some height to the room, giving the illusion that the ceiling is much higher than it actually is.
