This was a staging project for a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom at the Lumina Towers in the heart of San Francisco. Staging is not in the day-to-day repertoire of Saga Interiors, however this was such an amazing opportunity that I had to say yes to it.
We turned this project around in 48 hours. We received the project on a Friday and completed the final touches by Saturday evening.
The goal was to warm up the space, give it an air of comfort, relaxation and coziness, while maintaining the modern feel and clean lines. I love using furniture with clean lines to achieve a modern and sleek look. By layering textures, fabrics and rugs I complement the clean lines to create a feeling of warmth and well-being.
In a space such as this, I love creating a flow between the indoor and outdoor space by playing up the beautiful greenery and foliage of the garden and incorporating it into the day-to-day decor. By excluding window treatments – with the exception of privacy blinds – we let the garden shine through the windows as a gorgeous backdrop to the space. Additionally, we brought the outside in by including lots of greenery in our decor.
