Designing nurseries and kids rooms bring me so much joy.
When I took on this project I worked closely with the expectant mother. We talked through her wants, needs, excitements and together we imagined her little one in the space. We were able to connect over the bond of motherhood and wanting the best for our children.
I was able to travel back to a time when I was expecting my son, Winston, and how enchanted I was with preparing our home for his arrival.
There was so much love and nurturing that went into every element of the space, to make it perfect for the bundle of joy that would soon arrive.
My favorite part of the room is definitely the rocking chair nook that we made inviting to ensure momma and baby would be comfortable as they would spend lots of time bonding and snuggling together in this corner.
