Parca Auxiliary Luncheon 2023

PARCA Auxiliary Board & Provisionals 2022-2023

The PARCA 2023 Luncheon was an event to remember, filled with camaraderie, philanthropy, and a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This year's luncheon held special significance for me as I had the honor of serving as the Co Vice President of Auction with one of my favorite humans Nadia Baroni, a role that allowed us to contribute in a meaningful way to the success of this remarkable event.

A Gathering for a Purpose

The PARCA Luncheon is an annual gathering that brings together supporters, donors, and advocates who share a common goal: to create a more inclusive and accepting community for individuals with developmental disabilities. PARCA Botanica was a captivating event that unfolded within the enchanting setting of a private residence. Our dedicated decor team left us in awe with their impeccable artistry, creating a mesmerizing backdrop adorned with exquisite flowers and beautifully arranged tablescapes. These decorations artfully conveyed the essence of our event, symbolizing the act of sowing seeds of opportunity, fostering growth, and nurturing a culture of acceptance.

The Role of VP of Auction

As the Co- Chair of VP of Auction, our responsibilities were to oversee the auction segment of the event, which plays a vital role in raising funds to support PARCA's programs and initiatives. This was a position that required meticulous planning, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of PARCA's mission.

In the months leading up to the luncheon, Nadia and I worked closely with our phenomenal PARCA Auxiliary to procure a diverse array of items for the auction. From luxury vacations and exclusive dining experiences to artwork and unique collectibles, we aimed to offer something for every attendee to bid on and enjoy.

A Remarkable Auction Experience

The day of the luncheon arrived, and the auction room buzzed with excitement. Attendees eagerly perused the items on display, placing their bids and competing for the coveted prizes. It was heartening to witness the generosity of the attendees, knowing that their contributions would directly benefit PARCA's programs, which provide essential support and resources to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

One of the highlights of the auction was the opportunity to hear firsthand stories from individuals whose lives had been transformed by PARCA's services. These personal testimonials served as a powerful reminder of the profound impact our fundraising efforts could have on the community.

A Sense of Fulfillment

As the auction came to a close, and the final bids were tallied, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of fulfillment. Being part of an organization that strives to make a positive difference in the lives of others is a truly rewarding experience. The success of the auction segment was a testament to the dedication and generosity of the PARCA community.

In the end, the PARCA 2023 Luncheon was not just an event; it was a celebration of compassion, inclusivity, and the unwavering commitment to creating a brighter future for individuals with developmental disabilities. Serving as the Vice President of Auction allowed me to play a small in this noble endeavor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause.

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on the success of the PARCA 2023 Luncheon, we also look forward to the continued growth and impact of PARCA in the years to come. The luncheon serves as a reminder that when individuals and communities come together with a shared purpose, they can create lasting change and promote acceptance and inclusion for all. I am honored to be part of this journey, and I eagerly anticipate the positive strides we will make together in the future.Special Shout out to our PARCA Luncheon Board 2022-2023
